CHALLENGES

  1. To have a ready made, natural, reliable  emergency standby source which can substitute food, milk, and water for survival of mankind, and domestic animals in times of shortage of food due to reasons like famines, pandemics, calamities, failure of supply chains, logistics,etc.

  2. Achieving accessible, nutritious food for a projected 10 billion population while mitigating climate change and ensuring biodiversity.

  3. The nutritional requirements of EAT- Lancet reference diet components shall be met to the maximum extent possible.

  4. To provide a reliable food source even in difficult critical times like pandemics, multiple prolonged famines, failure of supply chains, disruption by natural calamities.

  5. To reduce human and wildlife conflict and depredations by ensuring sufficient supply of food to wild animals within the deep forests through palms.

  6. To promote immunity building nutrition to combat pandemic like covid-19, and other seasonal infections

  7. To hold global average temperature increase to well below  2 °C above pre industrial levels.
